APC publications are designed to serve the public interest by eliminating misunderstanding between manufacturers and purchasers and facilitating interchangeability and improvement of products.
Ownership of the copyright for all APC publications and all other documents posted on APCs worldwide web site resides with the Advanced Photonics Coalition.
APC publications are adopted without regard to whether or not their adoption may involve patents or articles, materials, or processes. By such action APC does not assume any liability to any patent owner, nor does it assume any obligation whatever to parties adopting the APC publications.
APC files may be reproduced for internal use only without restriction; however, the reproduction of these files for any other purpose, whether in electronic and/or hard copy form, is PROHIBITED. Users of APC copyrighted works wishing to distribute the files for purposes other than noted may do so only by contacting the APC office in writing requesting permission to reproduce the files along with the reason(s) for such a request.
